Hi pocket PC expert,

I am having problem to install the .NET compact framework 2.0 on my HP IPAQ 6365. The IPAQ 6365 is running the Chinese version of Widnows Mobile 2003 second edition.

It says that the .NET compact framework 2.0 is not designed for this version of windows.
1) I have tried a cold reset but still doesn't work.
2)I have tried to copy all the cab file on to the pocket PC directly and tried to install it. Nothing works.

Is there anyway to fix it? Please kindly help me out. Thanks!

Frederick

Hi Fredrick,

I'm guessing you need to Chinese versions of the compact framework 2.0!

You'll find it the Chinese (mainland version) here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=zh-cn&FamilyID=9655156b-356b-4a2c-857c-e62f50ae9a55

Other language versions can be found here:

http://pluralsight.com/blogs/jimw/archive/2005/11/30/17216.aspx

I do not know if Webby works with your language, but it may. Many people use Webby with non-english versions.

If people would like to post their experiences to the forum provided we can share information about this.

Regards

Julian

Both Chinese (Simplified or Traditional) versions were tried but no luck.

Do you still have any further suggestion on installing the .NET 2.0 Compact Framework? Please advise, thanks!
