Hi,

Before installing anything on my PPC (iPAQ 3115), I always install on the Device Emulator.

I saw that you require NET CF 2.0. I downloaded it but I can't install, it always say the device I am installing it to is not compatible. I saw from the screenshots that you use the emulator as well. How did you installed it?

Thanks,

Kaos

ps: I am emulating a PPC 2003 SE (same as mine) and have activesync 3.8 installed.

OK, I got it installed. I extracted the correct cab from the msi, transfered to the pocket and installed there.

ANyway, webby is very cool, congrats. But (there's always a but), I am really not prepared to giveup on 3.3MB of my RAM (what was used by the cf 2 installation. Do you have other versions that can run off cf 1.1?

Hi Kaos,

Thanks for persisting with Webby.
Webby 1.0 was designed to use .NET Framework 1.1, but it's very rough and not really worthy of your attention. (I have not released it on the internet)
I use .NET 2.0 in much of my other work and would prefer to continue using it for Webby.
I suppose Webby Mobile is really targetted at "the future" - Windows Mobile 5 devices (note: I run Windows Mobile 2003 on an Axim X3)
In the future I'll be releasing other .net 2.0 utilities that may tempt you to upgrade.

Regards

Julian
